One of the proudest moments of the conference came as Dr. Arthur Eisenkraft—renowned physicist, educator, and curriculum author—was awarded the 2025 Outstanding Leadership in Science Education (OLISE) Award by the National Science Education Leadership Association (NSELA). This prestigious honor, presented during the NSELA Annual Conference in Philadelphia, recognizes Dr. Eisenkraft’s decades of transformative contributions to science education and his ongoing commitment to equity, excellence, and innovation in the field.
Dr. Eisenkraft is the esteemed author of Active Physics, Active Chemistry, and Active Integrated Physics and Chemistry, all published by Activate Learning. His work has played a pivotal role in reshaping science instruction by making it more hands-on, student-centered, and inquiry-driven.
